A rainy day styling tip!
When it rains, it pours and we are left with not a clue with what to do with our hair. Since not all of us have long hair to put up in a ponytail, here’s a styling tip for the rest of you guys who need some help.
Try using a gel product, a perfect one is Gel Serum by Oribe. The trick is to use no more than a quarter size and to NOT put it on the roots. Towel dry your hair to the point its only roughly 30% damp, finger comb the gel through, paying mind that you really want to only get the mid-shaft to the ends of the hair (it’ll help to just put the gel on your finger tips when you run it through, so it’s evenly dispersed). A messy finger combed look works perfect in this rainy weather.
When you are done trekking through the rain and finally get to your destination, wipe the rain drops of your face and roughly finger comb through your hair once more. Because you didn’t put the product on the root and didn’t use a lot, the rain just should help disperse and refresh the product rather than making it run down your face. As it dries, you’ll get some awesome separation while still maintaining the perfect wet and messy (but intentional) look!
Try it and let me know what you’ve come up with!
Be well,
Only Jenkins
